Meta Media Entertainment has been appointed worldwide distributor (excluding China) for Rainbow Crew, a coproduction between Perfect Kunpeng Animation (owned by Chinese technology and educational product company iHuman Inc.) and iQIYI, China’s leading online entertainment platform.
The new 26-episode series, available in both Chinese and English, follows on from the success of Perfect Kunpeng’s six-season series, Cosmicrew, and features the same Rainbow characters. Rainbow Crew has ranked No.1 in China across all kids’ content on all streaming platforms for four consecutive weeks since its debut in October.

Rainbow Crew introduces viewers to a vibrant, heart-warming adventure centered on a group of animal friends who work together to resolve emotional and physical crises in their community. The Rainbow Crew consists of four girls; Rainbow, the captain, a smart and kind rabbit, Hazel, a brave horse, Briana, a gentle sheep and Aurora, a fiery hamster.
Together, they resolve crises in their town caused by Victor, a cunning wolf who can turn animals who have out-of-control emotions into jelly monsters, creating chaos in the town. Through empathy, teamwork and magical power, the Rainbow Crew helps these animals manage their emotions, restoring harmony to the town.

Cosmicrew, also distributed by Meta Media Entertainment outside China, has had over 10 billion views VOD, broadcast on over 100 Chinese TV Channels and has ranked No. 1 on TV Ratings Chart for all China’s kids channels multiple times. It is now rolling out to the rest of the world and sales so far include to beIN MEDIA GROUP’s kids channels in MENA, Mediacorp Singapore, Newline Media Group CIS/Kazakhstan, Olympusat and Toon Goggles.
