Devil May Cry [c/o Netflix]

Prepare, puny mortals — the Gates of Hell open April 3, unleashing the new anime adaptation of Devil May Cry on Netflix! Today, the streamer unveiled the official trailer as well as additional casting for the highly anticipated series from Adi Shankar (Castlevania).

Joining previously announced voice star Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante will be Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween, Charmed) as Mary, Hoon Lee (The Monkey King, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as White Rabbit, Kevin Conroy as VP Baines (recorded prior to the prolific Batman voice actor’s death in 2022) and Chris Coppola (Friday the 13th, Beowulf) as Enzo.

Synopsis: In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.
