The classic horror movie The Thing will be remade once again, with Universal attaching Battlestar Galactica‘s Ron Moore to the script and commercial director Matthijs van Heijningen to direct, Variety reports.
Based on a novella by John W. Campbell Jr., the story was first adapted to film in 1951 as The Thing From Another World. A remake called simply The Thing directed by John Carpenter was released in 1982 and has become a cult classic.
