Harry Potter: The Exhibition Set to Take Manhattan

Look out wizards, Harry Potter is hitting the Big Apple.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition, featuring original items from all films in the series, is extending its popular tour of North America with a previously unannounced stop at Discovery Times Square in New York City starting April 5.

The traveling show opened in Chicago in April 2009, and has visited Boston, Chicago and Seattle. After its New York City run ends Sept. 5, the show will head overseas.

The 14,000 square-foot show features dramatic displays inspired by locations seen in the film as well as authentic costumes and props and locations including the Great Hall, Hagrid’s hut and the Gryffindor common room.

The exhibition requires a time-entry ticket and guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to ensure the best date and time. General public admission to Harry Potter: The Exhibition is $25 for adults; $22.50 for seniors (65 and over) and $19.50 for children (4-12); children under 4 years of age are free.
