Following Nickelodeon’s 27th annual Kids’ Choice Awards, American rap star Biz Markie (“Just a Friend”) will take a guest starring role on the network’s hit comedy toon SpongeBob SquarePants. Premiering Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT), “Kenny the Cat” features Biz Markie as the titular feline star, who is SpongeBob’s latest idol. Kids and kids TV fans are already familiar with the rapper from his regular appearances on Yo Gabba Gabba! where he presents the “Biz’s Beat of the Day” beat-boxing segment.
Additionally, is launching a new 14 episode DVD collection titled SpongeBob and Friends: Patrick SquarePants packed with fan-favorite adventures, cover art chosen by the fans themselves and collectible packaging (while supplies last).
