FUNimation Entertainment will be unleashing Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F in theaters across the U.S. and Canada in a limited release from August 4-12. The film, directed by Akira Toriyama, will end Stateside fans’ long wait for the follow-up to last year’s Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
Resurrection F is the 20th film in the Dragon Ball franchise, which first arrived on North American shores in 1986. The film showcases the return of the villainous Frieza. Resurrected from death, Frieza concocts a plan to take his revenge on the Z Fighters of Earth. Goku and Vegeta once again face their nemesis together, but this time the fight is for the Earth’s very survival.
