Multimedia kids’ content producer Glowberry — part of Ukraine’s FILM.UA Group — is presenting a teaser for it first 2D animated series, Mom Hurries Home: City Adventures, at the FILM.UA MIPCOM stand R7.L12. Aimed at preschoolers, the 26 x 3 first season is currently in production at Animagrad Animation Studio, with delivery expected in 2018.
Mom Hurries Home: City Adventures is a comedy adventure following the daily life of a modern family living in a big city, struggling to balance family values with the hectic lifestyle of hard-working parents. After work, Mom and Dad always hurry home — sometimes overcoming incredible obstacles and solving complex puzzles in order to spend time with their 5-year-old son, Alex.
The series aims to help kids be more confident and able to tolerate their parents being busy with other things. The show is inspired by the successful book Mommy Hurries Home, which was published in Ukraine in 2010 and became quite popular, followed by an interactive app which was well received in Ukraine, Russia and Europe. Recently, Rightol Media, brand agent for China, reached a deal with a local publisher to bring the book to Chinese-speaking territories.
