A call for submissions has been issued for the Games Development Boot Camp Accelerator Program, part of Turin, Italy’s 2017 VIEW Conference running October 23-27. The program offers six winners in early stages of videogame creation the chance to secure financing, mentoring and more.
This opportunity is open to console, mobile, social, casual and online game companies with no restriction on genre, platform or distribution method. Middleware, publishing and distribution companies are also eligible.
Submissions will be reviewed by an international panel of judges, who will select the half-dozen projects which will receive guidance from industry experts and equity partners who invest in the industry or have a financial interest in the sector. The program includes one week of online mentorship and one hands-on week during the VIEW Conference itself. After the boot camp, participants will be invited to pitch to potential investors in an investment forum.
