L.A.-based vfx powerhouse Digital Domain will intergrate Luxology modos new subdivisioin surface and polygonal modeling toolset into its production pipeline. The Oscar-winning vfx facility (Titanic, The Day After Tomorrow, I, Robot) went with modos modeling toolset because of its robust 3D modeling capabilities, intuitive workflow and seamless pipeline integration.

Digital Domain is using modo on the upcoming feature film Stealth, as well as commercial spots for Disney, Michelin and Heineken, according to Grant. Modo is available now through Luxology and its worldwide partners.
