Another day, another big SIGGRAPH unveiling, this time from the folks at eyeon Software, who announced that their compositing application, Fusion 5, will be shipping by the end of August.
Among Fusion 5’s main features are 3d compositions with lights, cameras and primitives, OpenGL acceleration with display views and an essential change to ASCII files. Other new features and workflow enhancements include Waveform, Vectorscope and 3D Histogram monitors, 3D integration, import FBX scenes, collaborative workflow bins server and a new flow comments tab. Fusion 5 has been developed as a full 64-bit-ready app.
