MAXON will be making a big splash next week at the Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) annual conference, to be held July 29 ‘ August 1 in Richmond, Virginia. The software gurus will act as Educational Corporate Sponsors for the event’s ‘Techniques Showcase,’ which will demonstrate the benefits of 3D imaging technology’including MAXON’s acclaimed modeling and animation software CINEMA 4D’in the medical community in quickly and easily creating imagery of complex medical and biological information.

As part of the Showcase, MAXON is sponsoring a presentation by medical animator Nobles Green II (Nucleus Medical Art): ‘Creating and Animating Ciliated Cells with CINEMA 4D’s HAIR Module and MoGraph’, which will focus on the software’s intuitive workflow and integrated modules in the context of depicting cell surface organelles; as well as a ‘Painting Texture Maps onto 3D Models in Photoshop CS4 and Importing them into CINEMA 4D’ workshop with 3D design demo by medical illustrator Fabian de Kok-Mercado (Battelle Memorial Institute / National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases).
