VFX Artist Applies Black Logic

Black Logic Executive Producer Ivan Molomut announced that Visual Effects Artist Kate O’Neill has joined the creative team.

After freelancing with the company since 1995, O’Neill has now become a fixture in the effects/CGI department, joining Effects Artist Brian Benson, CG Director Doug Johnson, Director/Designer Alessandro Swainston and Art Director Irene Kim.

Among the projects she has worked are spots for McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Audi, Canon, AFI, HBO, VH1, MTV, Visa, Kodak, Motorola, MCI, Domino’s Pizza, Taco Bell, Proctor & Gamble, Pizza Hut and American Express.

In addition to Black Logic, O’Neill has freelanced for such companies as Digital Domain, Ring of Fire, Area 52, Click 3X, Imaginary Forces, R/Greenberg, Manhattan Transfer (now R!ot), Spontaneous Combustion, PSYOP, OmniLab, Nice Shoes, Artichoke Design, The Attik and Lee Hunt Design.

Prior to going freelance, O’Neill was a visual effects artist on the staff of Click 3X, NY where her work included commercials for NBC, McDonald’s, Proctor & Gamble, Disney, American Express and Bell-Atlantic. Before that she was on the staff of Quiet Man, NY where her work included The Beatles Free As A Bird music video and the Saturday Night Live opening & titles for the 1997 season. O’Neill started her career as a designer with Portfolio Artists’ Network.
