Canada’s Mainframe Studios, known for delivering animation for major studios and brands worldwide, announces key promotions in newly created roles to bolster its content team:
Tanya Green has been elevated to Senior Vice President of Development & Current Series, where she will oversee the studio’s development slate and current series, spanning preschool to all-ages content. Since joining Mainframe in July 2020 as Head of Preschool, Green has played a pivotal role in broadening the studio’s creative scope, spearheading the expansion of its preschool portfolio, and fostering strategic partnerships with leading industry stakeholders. Her leadership has strengthened Mainframe’s position as a premier studio for compelling, high-quality animated content.

Florian Wagner steps into the role of Studio Creative Director, where he will lead efforts to enhance Mainframe’s creative capabilities, nurture emerging talent, and cultivate new partnerships for both work-for-hire and original IP opportunities. With extensive experience in animation and creative direction, Wagner has been instrumental in shaping the studio’s artistic vision.
Nick Purrier has been promoted to the role of Development Executive, where he will focus on driving Mainframe’s development slate while expanding the studio’s global partnerships to create new opportunities in the animation space.

Founded in 1993, Mainframe Studios has produced a library of award-winning animated content. With a portfolio of over 1,000 television episodes and 70-plus long-form projects, including three original theatrical feature films, the studio employs a global talent base and cutting-edge technology in CG, 2D and Unreal Engine to produce animation for broadcasters, clients and partners around the world.
The studio’s recent and ongoing projects include hit series such as Spin Master’s Unicorn Academy, SuperKitties! (Disney and Sony), the CoComelon (Candle Media’s Moonbug) and Octonauts (Silvergate, now Sony Pictures Television – Kids) franchises, as well as Madagascar: A Little Wild (DreamWorks Animation) and Mattel’s Barbie franchise, both streaming on Netflix. Mainframe’s original series include Team Zenko Go with DreamWorks for Netflix and The Guava Juice Show for YouTube Originals.
Upcoming releases include the 3D series Andrew the Big BIG Unicorn for ABC Australia and CBC and the 2D series Phoebe & Jay for PBS, as well as the horror-comedy Ghost Town, currently in development with creators Josh Saltzman & Evan Thaler Hickey.
