As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, Titmouse, the Emmy Award-winning animation studio behind Big Mouth, The Legend of Vox Machina, The Venture Bros. and more, has announced the much-anticipated return of its annual 5 Second Day… Night!!!, with screenings set for Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver.
For nearly two decades, 5 Second Day has been the ultimate celebration of unfiltered creativity at Titmouse, showcasing bite-sized animated masterpieces that take center stage. But these wildly original shorts don’t come out of nowhere — they’re born from the studio’s legendary 5 Second Day, an annual tradition where Titmouse shuts down production for 24 hours, giving its artists a fully paid day to unleash their most quirky, beautiful, bizarre and laugh-out-loud ideas. No studio notes. No restrictions. Just pure creative freedom. Plus, every short remains 100% owned by its creator, not the studio.
5 Second Day… Night!!! is where it all comes together — one unforgettable evening of screenings in front of industry leaders and insiders, animation enthusiasts, and the public. From surreal experiments to side-splitting gags, each year’s lineup is a one-of-a-kind experience, reflecting the boundless imagination of Titmouse’s artists.
This year’s screenings are extra special, not just because of the incredible lineup but because they’re part of Titmouse’s 25th anniversary celebration — a milestone that highlights the studio’s enduring mission to champion artists and push the boundaries of animation.
