Propstore Auctions Rare ‘Snow White’ Animated Movie Posters

Propstore, the world-renowned auction house for movie memorabilia, unveils an extraordinary opportunity for film enthusiasts and collectors alike: the auction of rare and original posters from Walt Disney’s groundbreaking 1937 animated feature Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

This exclusive online auction, running March 7 – March 8, 2025, comes just in time to celebrate the classic ahead of the big screen debut of Disney’s 2025 live-action reimagining, hitting theaters in March.

The collection includes an array of stunning and historically significant posters, some of which date back to the film’s original release. Highlights include a pristine insert poster and an original, untouched 22″ x 28 poster, capturing the cultural moment that established Snow White as a beloved classic:

• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) 22″ x 28” poster, by Gustaf Tenggren, the late illustrator best known for his Arthur Rackham-inspired fairy-tale style, and celebrated for his work on Disney’s Snow White and Pinocchio. This iconic “Style A” half sheet poster is considered one of the most desirable from this iconic Disney animated feature. A gem from the early days of the animated feature film genre, the poster is unfolded, with minor wear including pinholes, border tears, and small stains to showcase its original condition. Estimated to fetch $4,000–$8,000.

• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937),  14″ x 36″ insert poster, by Gustaf Tenggren: From the film’s original release, this folded poster is a highly collectible piece. Estimated to fetch $4,000–$8,000.

The auction, featuring more than 900 posters expected to fetch as much as $1.5 million, will include live online bidding on March 7, and online bidding available on March 8 for fans and collectors around the world.

The 2025 revival Disney’s Snow White is set to premiere this month, directed by Marc Webb and featuring a star-studded cast led by Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
