Giorgio Stock will take over the job of executive VP and managing director of Disney channels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Stock’s purview will include Disney’s entire portfolio of channels in those territories, including Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Disney XD and Cinemagic. He also will represent the company on the board of SRTL, a joint venture with RTL Group.
Joining Disney in 1997, Stock has been senior VP and GM Disney Channels Italy since 2005. He will move to the company’s London offices and report to Diego Lerner, president of The Walt Disney Co., Europe, Middle East and Africa.
