ABP Reveals 2012 Lineup

The ninth annual Animation Block Party will be in full swing July 27-29 in Brooklyn, NY. An international assortment of short films will be screening at the Rooftop Films opening night (Friday, 8 p.m.), which will also feature live music. Further programs will play at BAMcinématek, which will also host the ABP Animation and Art Trade Show on Saturday (open to the public) through the weekend: Animation For Kids (Sat. & Sun., 12 p.m.), Eclectic Mix (Sat. 2 p.m. & 6:50 p.m.), International Shorts (Sat. 4:30 p.m. & 9:15 p.m.), Narrative Works (Sun. 2 p.m. & 6:50 p.m.) and Fresh Visions (Sun. 4:30 p.m. & 9:15 p.m.) with a closing party at Brooklyn’s Habana Outpost.

Programming highlights include David Levy’s Turning a Corner, Rob Munday’s Rousseau and the Salmon Man, Kibwe Tavares’ Robots of Brixton, Eric Prah’s Student Academy Award winner My Little Friend, Chel White’s (Bent Image Lab) Jingle All the Way and Emma Burch’s Being Bradford Dillman.
