Due to strong international interest generated at MIPTV, BFC Berliner Film Companie announced yesterday that it will extend the number of episodes for three of their animated kids properties: Da Boom Crew, Sherm! and MP4orce.
Da Boom Crew, a hip-hopping sci-fi series currently airing on the Kids WB! about four orphans in a parallel video game universe, will be increased from 13 to 26 x 22 minute episodes. BFC will also be doubling-up on Sherm!, which is produced in association with Super RTL and centers on the weird science of an adolescent boy and his five best friends who happen to be germs. And MP4orce, a thrilling gamescape toon about four best friends who are transformed into their favorite video game superheroes, will be upped to 26 x 30 episodes.
BFC Berliner Film Companie was established in 2002, and currently has offices in Berlin and L.A. The production company finances, produces and distributes television and feature film animation.
