Playhouse Disney will launch ‘Snow Day Saturdays’ on Dec. 6. The month-long programming event will air from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ET/PT), featuring winter-themed episodes of Playhouse Disney favorites including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Imagination Movers and Little Einsteins. Young viewers can also look forward to the television premiere of My Friends Tigger & Pooh Super Sleuth Christmas Movie on Dec. 6 at 8:30 a.m.
Nina brings over her holiday gifts for the Movers, but has forgotten to label them in the Imagination Movers epsisode ‘Present Problem,’ airing on Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. The Little Einsteins gang blasts off on an arctic adventure to help the little Violin Fairy rescue her fairy friends in ‘Flight of the Instrument Fairies’ on Dec. 13 at 8 a.m., followed by the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse installment “Pluto to the Rescue!” at 9 a.m. When Donald and Goofy accidentally build a giant snowman that is so big they can’t climb around it, Mickey and Pluto the Rescue Dog must use their math and observational skills to help them get back down from Mistletoe Mountain.
In My Friends Tigger & Pooh Super Sleuth Christmas Movie, Roo and Lumpy discover Santa’s magical toy sack and a young reindeer named Holly lost in the Hundred Acre Wood. They summon the Super Sleuths to help return the bag and Holly to the North Pole in time to save Christmas.
Playhouse Disney, seen in a daily programming block on Disney Channel in the U.S. and on Playhouse Disney channels around the world, encourages preschoolers to imagine and learn through original series, short-form content and acquired programming that includes song, movement and entertainment. Guided by an established curriculum, the block supports multiple areas of child development.
